Miles Community College (MCC) and Dickinson State University (DSU) have signed a â2+2â transfer articulation agreement that will allow students to complete a bachelorâs degree in Elementary Education without leaving Miles City.
Students will be able to complete the first two years of their degree at MCC, earning an Associate of Arts Degree, before transferring to DSU for two years to complete a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. The latter two years of study will be delivered remotely, allowing students to remain in Miles City. Previously, students seeking an elementary education degree through MCC would have been required to transfer to a four-year university outside of Miles City to complete the last two years of the bachelorâs degree.

VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NDHSAA) – The North Dakota Officials Association (NDOA) announced the 51
st induction class to the 2020-21 Hall of Fame as determined at its fall Board of Directors meeting. The NDOA has inducted 154 officials into its Hall of Fame since the inaugural class in 1965. Plaques commemorating all Hall of Fame members are housed in the North Dakota Athletic Hall of Fame, located inside the Jamestown Civic Center. Inductees are:
Gary Cederstrom – Minot
Gary Cederstrom began officiating North Dakota high school football and boys basketball in 1975.
In 1980 he added high school girls basketball to his officiating repertoire. In total, Cederstrom officiated 25 seasons of boys basketball, 20 seasons of high school football and 14 seasons of high school girls basketball in the state of North Dakota. As a high school official, Cederstrom worked 30 NDHSAA playoff football games, and 10-plus boys and girls baseball region tournaments.
10-42: Reflecting on two decades of service for Dickinson
Capt. Dave Wilkie of the Dickinson Police Department joins the ranks of retirement after serving Dickinson for the past 21 years. Wilkie started with the Dickinson Police Department in 1999 and has spear-headed numerous programs within the department like Citizen s Police Academy, Youth Explorers, Reserve Officer program and participated on numerous civic boards and committees on behalf of the police department.
