After more than two months since its official announcement, Disney+ has finally launched their newest content hub called Star, which further expands the growing streaming service’s already loaded collection of content raging from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars up to National Geographic. The Star brand geared towards more adult programming is now available in select international territories including Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Europe. Meanwhile in Singapore, Disney+ with Star launched today becoming the first market to launch with the new general entertainment brand.

Disney Plus has just gone through its biggest change yet. Included with the subscription is now Star, an entertainment platform that mixes movies and shows the likes of Disney Television Studios (20th Television and ABC Signature), FX Productions, 20th Century Studios and more.
This means that, thanks to Star on Disney Plus, hundreds of movies and show have been added to Disney Plus - that s a lot of things to watch!
UPDATE:
The Golden Globe winning Nomadland is heading to Star on Disney Plus on 30 April for no extra charge. This will be the same time the movie comes out in cinemas in the UK. The film, directed by Chloé Zhao, is a docu-fictional look at nomads in the US who are homeless from the 2008 economic crash. It stars Frances McDormand as David Strathairn, as well as the real life nomads that feature in Jessica Bruder’s acclaimed book.

MUMBAI: Disney+ has launched a new general entertainment service Star in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Canada, giving the company a new streaming outlet for more adult-oriented programming. Disney+ with Star had also been launched in Singapore, the first market where Disney+ has launched with the new Star offering. Eastern Europe, Hong Kong, Japan, and South Korea are due to follow later this year. After its initial launch in November 2019, Disney+ is now in dozens of territories. In Europe, the Star service will cost €8.99 per month or €89.90 per year, with a similar pricing in the other launch markets.
