Disney+ Is Raising Its Prices As Subscribers Gain Over 100 New Shows, Movies

The Walt Disney Company (DIS) is raising the price of its streaming service Disney+, but subscribers will be getting a bang for their buck. The service plans to add over 100 new movies and shows to its platform every year.
Disney has announced that U.S. Disney+ subscribers will see a $1 increase, taking the streaming service to $7.99 per month, up from its current price of $6.99, starting March 26, 2021. Yearly pricing will be $79.99. The Disney Bundle, which includes Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+, will be priced at $13.99 per month.
The price increase comes as Disney+’s 86.8 million subscribers are scheduled to receive plenty of new content. The entertainment company said it has plans to release approximately 10 “Star Wars” series and 10 Marvel series as well as 15 Disney live-action, Disney Animation, and Pixar series, in addition to 15 Disney live-action, Disney Animation

Disney have also officially confirmed
Sister Act 3 is in the works with Whoopi Goldberg.
They re also releasing a hybrid live action-animated movie called
Chip ‘N Dale: Rescue Rangers.
It features an all star cast including John Mulaney and Andy Samberg.
In addition to this, we re getting a new
Pinocchio film starring Tom Hanks.
