There’s so many places we want to go to when once we get all vaxxed up, but pretty high on the list is Disneyland’s new Avengers Campus. The attraction will open at Disney’s California Adventure on June 4 with several rides and restaurants inspired by the Marvel cinematic universe. Disney Parks just dropped a new preview of the campus which highlights the cast member costumes.

Walt Disney World Resort already has new plans for Halloween and is even celebrating the halfway point to the spooky holiday.
Instead of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Disney’s Orlando-based Magic Kingdom Park is hosting a Disney After Hours BOO BASH from August to October, according to a news release shared by Disney Parks Blog.
The festive event will occur on select dates between Aug. 10 and Oct. 31, and will run from 9 p.m. EST to midnight. Planners working on the seasonal event anticipate Halloween-themed cavalcades, character sightings, special performances, treats, décor and more.
Disney Shows Off First Footage of Working Lightsaber
It s true. The Force, the Jedi. All of it. It s all true. Including the lightsabers.
It’s been rumored for years, and it was apparently previewed without any pictures allowed at a recent press event, but for the very first time (for May the 4th Be With You, obviously) Disney is showing a real, working
Star Wars lightsaber. “Real” being relative here, obviously; you can’t cut anyone in half with it (thankfully). But unlike every other toy or pretend lightsaber where the “blade” is a long clear tube that lights up at a press of a button (and just sits there, unilluminated, when it’s off) the blade here retracts into the hilt and then extends out as it turns on.

HALFWAY POINTS? They re rather important when you start talking about the lore of Halloween. After all, kids are keenly aware of when they ve made it past their neighborhood s halfway point on Halloween night, in terms of how much trick-or-treating is left to go. The phantoms that linger halfway between two worlds receive plenty of spooky attention, through ghost stories and skin-prickly songs, on the 31st of October. And making it #HalfwaytoHalloween? That happens around early May, each and every year, the point on the calendar that says we ve got six months before the Hauntingest Night of the Year arrives.
