ANAHEIM, Calif. Disneyland and California Adventure will reopen on April 30, more than one year after shutting down due to the coronavirus pandemic, Disney announced Wednesday. Reservations will be required and only state residents will be permitted to visit the parks in line with current state guidelines. The parks will operate at 15% of capacity, and park admission and offerings are not guaranteed, Disney said. Certain hotels, restaurants, attractions and other offerings might be modified or unavailable.

State health officials announced earlier this month that theme parks can reopen beginning April 1 in counties that have reached the red tier of the state’s four-level Blueprint for a Safer Economy. Orange County moved into the red tier last week.
“In the days leading up to the public opening on April 30, Disneyland Resort will invite cast members and members of the local community to be the first theme park guests,” Disney officials said Wednesday.

ANAHEIM, California - After a nearly year-long closure, Disneyland is on the precipice of reopening its doors.
According to Variety, Mickey Mouse s California hangout is on track to receive visitors by April 30.
The news was announced by Disney CEO Bob Chapek during a Wednesday (March 17) morning interview.
But reopening doesn t mean the Aneheim-based theme park will see throngs of visitors bustling about as it has in years past. Health precautions related to the COVID-19 health crisis will still be in effect.

After nearly a year, Disneyland and California Adventure will reopen its doors on April 30th, Disney announced Wednesday.
The Happiest Place on Earth closed following the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in March last year. Disney CEO Chapek said last week the theme parks are reopening after California health officials released new guidelines last week amid a downward trend in coronavirus cases and an increase in COVID-19 vaccinations.
