Marvel’s superhero-themed Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure will open on Friday with six acres of rides, costumed characters plenty of food and drinks to savor.
On WEB Slingers, Tom Holland s Peter Parker invites guests to board his latest invention, a vehicle allowing passengers to sling virtual webs from their wrists, through motion-sensor technology. Guests can further enhance their interactivity with a WEB Power Band, available for purchase, which unlocks additional customizable features on the attraction.
For a real-life taste of the MCU, guests can try several eateries, including Pym Test Kitchen, which features familiar foods in massive and miniature sizes. The adjacent Pym Tasting Lab offers oversized craft beers as well as cocktails and hard seltzers for grown-ups.
Californians will be the first to try everything out. While Walt Disney World in Florida is open to all, Disneyland is currently limited to in-state residents. Disneyland Resort will reopen to out-of-state guests on June 15.
