Enhanced food assistance continues for NJ SNAP recipients
New Jersey residents who receive food assistance through the state’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (NJ SNAP) will continue to receive enhanced food assistance benefits in February to help address needs related to the COVID-19 pandemic. A 15 percent increase in SNAP benefits that began in January will be in effect through June.
Jan 27, 2021 ALBANY Alexis Stephenson of Saranac Lake has been named to the Dean’s List at the College of Saint Rose for the fall 2020 semester. The make the Dean’s List at Saint Rose, a student must earn a 3.5 grade point average or higher without a D, F or Incomplete grade, and be a full-time undergraduate student, completing a minimum of 12 graded credit hours. TROY Jacob Stradley of Tupper Lake was one of 1,600 students named to the President’s List at Hudson Valley Community College for the fall 2020 semester. Stradley is studying in the Exercise Science program. Each fall and spring term, the college’s President’s List names those full-time students and part-time students registered for at least six college credits who have a term grade point average of between 3.5 and 4.0, and who received no grade of D, F, I, Z or W on their record for that term. Students must have completed at least 12 college credits successfully.

The following local residents were named to the Dean s List at Hamilton College for the 2020 fall semester:
Kayleigh Miller of Mahopac. Miller, a senior majoring in public policy, is a graduate of Mahopac Central School Distric.
Isabella Piacentino of Carmel. Piacentino, a first-year student, is a graduate of North Salem High School.
To be named to the Dean s List, a student must have carried throughout the semester a course load of four or more graded credits with an average of 3.5 or above.

CLINTON, New York Quinn Brown, of Rockport, has been named to the Dean s List at Hamilton College for the 2020 fall semester.
To be named to the Dean s List, a student must have carried throughout the semester a course load of four or more graded credits with an average of 3.5 or above.
Brown, a first-year student, is a graduate of Camden Hills Regional High School.
