The Martha s Vineyard Times Oak Bluffs man hit with 46 indictments Felix Reagan was indicted on 46 separate charges this week. On Wednesday a Dukes County grand jury returned 46 indictments against Felix Reagan of Oak Bluffs. Reagan remains held following the second of two dangerousness hearings in Edgartown District Court. The indictments bring Reagan’s legal matters into Dukes County Superior Court where potential penalties are more severe than in district court.  Reagan was arraigned in Edgartown District Court in December on charges of kidnapping, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (butcher knife), and other charges. He pleaded not guilty to all the charges against him at the time.

Sebastian Pattavina, a former Edgartown massage therapist, was found guilty of rape and indecent assault and battery. Brian Dowd Former Edgartown massage therapist Sebastian Pattavina, 55, was sentenced to 2½ years in prison and 3 years of probation after he pleaded guilty to rape and indecent assualt and battery in Dukes County Superior Court Tuesday. Pattavina pleaded guilty to five counts of indecent assault and battery and one count of assault and battery, for which he was sentenced to 2½ years in jail. He also pleaded guilty to one count of rape and three additional counts of indecent assault and battery, for which he was sentenced to three years of probation.

County authorizes $50,000 for courthouse repairs - The Martha s Vineyard Times

The boiler inside the county courthouse has failed and requires emergency replacement. -Rich Saltzberg County officials approved spending up to $50,000 to get a new boiler installed in the Dukes County Courthouse at an emergency meeting Tuesday night of the Dukes County Commission and the County Advisory Board. The decision comes a day after the Edgartown courthouse was closed for court business because the building’s boiler was found “cracked and leaking” on Saturday, county commission chair Christine Todd told The Times.
