Suspects toss drugs out of vehicle while leading police on high-speed chase

ATHENS, Texas (News release) - A high-speed chase across three counties ended with the arrest of two suspects by Henderson County sheriff Botie Hillhouse’s narcotics investigators, who were joined in the pursuit by area law enforcement.
Javier Delarosa, 18, and Arnulfo Baesa, 17, both of Dallas, face charges of manufacturing and delivery of meth and tampering with evidence.
According to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, late afternoon Monday the suspects led officers on a chase at speeds exceeding 115 miles per hour and were seen allegedly throwing drugs out their vehicle’s windows. Child dead after Sunday wreck in Denison; 3 more persons injured

A 9-year-old child is dead after a wreck on Sunday afternoon. In a news release issued by the Denison Police Department, three other passengers were injured in the wreck that took place near U.S. Highway 75 and Farm-to-Market road 84 in Denison on Sunday.
The investigation into the wreck is ongoing. On December 13, 2020 at 4:17 p.m., Denison Police Officers responded to a call of a vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 75 near F.M. 84, the release said. During the initial investigation officers were able to determine that the one vehicle involved was being driven northbound on U.S. 75 and for an as of yet undetermined reason, the vehicle left the roadway and entered the highway median, rolled over and landed upright.

JASPER COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - Authorities say one person is dead and another is seriously injured after a wreck in Jasper County Wednesday afternoon.
According to a preliminary report at around 4:30 p.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers responded to a single-vehicle crash on County Road 569 in Jasper County about one mile south of Kirbyville.
The preliminary report said that a 2017 Ford pickup truck was traveling northbound on County Road 569 when the driver lost control while traveling at an unsafe speed and went off the roadway and struck a tree.
