Here we are 8 games into the Arkansas Men’s Basketball season and I feel no different than I did 4 weeks ago when the season began. This Arkansas team didn’t disappoint or do anything extraordinary. 8 wins by double digits against Mid or Low-Major teams. They did what they should do, but what really matters is how it happened.
Dominating wins over Mississippi Valley State, Lipscomb, and Southern. Grind it out victories against North Texas, Texas-Arlington, and Abilene Christian. Lastly, 2 comeback wins over Central Arkansas and Oral Roberts.
For a team with no experience playing together, that’s what you want. Obviously, watching Arkansas down by 10 at halftime against Oral Roberts was extremely frustrating. Individuals interested in aviation will soon have the opportunity to pursue a bachelorâs degree that leads to aircraft pilot certification at Stephen F. Austin State University, following approval by the Board of Regents during a specially called meeting Thursday.
The university plans to partner with an aviation training school to offering the new bachelorâs degree. Two aviation training firms responded to a request for proposals issued by the university, and HCH Aviation was selected as a partner.
âWe are excited to partner with HCH and expand our academic offerings,â said Dr. Scott Gordon, SFA president. âThe aviation program will be a win for our current and future students, our partners and the community.â

Nearly 7,000 more doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are on the way to the Rio Grande Valley.
The majority 3,900 are headed to Cameron County, according to the Texas Department of State Health Services. Another 2,575 are headed to Hidalgo County. And 400 are headed to Starr County.
Dr. James W. Castillo II, the Cameron County health authority, said that Cameron County plans to focus on vaccinating home health workers.
An estimated 130 home health companies in Cameron County employ about 14,000 people.
