Town and county officials announced this afternoon that they will hold a COVID-19 community update at 3 p.m. Friday.
Representatives from St. Johnâs Health, the Teton County Health Department, Jackson Town Council, Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce, Teton County School District No. 1 and Teton County Board of County Commissioners will provide updates on coronavirus precautions and measures currently in place.
They will also talk about the pressing issue of the day, vaccines. As of Tuesday, health care workers in Teton County have been receiving the first doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine. Nearly 1,000 health care workers and first responders could be vaccinated by Christmas.
