A woman told police Thursday that family members stole more than $100,000 in silver, according to a police report.
The Denton Police Department is investigating a theft report after the woman told police family members sometime in the past two years took and sold more than $100,000 in silver from her and her father.
According to the report, she doesnât know exactly how much was taken. She told police she found the silver in the 1900 block of Willowcrest Loop, but itâs no longer there.
The report says the callerâs father told her which family member took the silver and sold it. A report was taken, and an investigation is ongoing.

Investigators are working to identify three men suspected of burglarizing multiple homes around Argyle and Ponder.
Law enforcement officials said at least three homes were burglarized between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 30.
The Denton County Sheriff s Office and Argyle Police Department are investigating the incidents.
The men would ring the doorbell and, if no one answered, kick in the front door, the sheriff s office said.
