MEMPHIS, Tenn. For about a year now, the coronavirus pandemic has been rampaging across America and around the world. In the U.S., the virus long ago exposed the many racial inequities in our society – from health disparities to lower paid essential jobs that made people of color more vulnerable to getting COVID-19 and dying from it. Now another disparity is rearing its ugly head in the effort to vaccinate Americans against the virus.
