Read Article NORWAY The Select Board voted unanimously Thursday evening to extend the contract of Town Manager Dennis Lajoie for another 18 months, bringing it to December 2022. The vote followed his evaluation during an executive session with the board citing his good work for the town. Lajoie was chosen for the position in June 2017 when he replaced longtime Town Manager David Holt. Before Lajoie came onboard, the town had just two managers in 43 years. In other business, the board accepted $773.17 for the sale of scrap iron and placed the money, at the suggestion of Highway Department Foreman Art Chappell, in the safety protective gear line for the department.
