DENVER The two women killed when their vehicle was struck was by a vehicle from the Denver Fire Department (DFD) were mother and daughter, according to family members.
The crash happened at 1:37 p.m. on Jan. 23 at North Broadway and Speer Boulevard, according to Denver Police. DFD said its rescue vehicle was using lights and sirens as it responded to a report of smoke in a building and that it had slowed to clear the intersection at the time of the crash.

DENVER A 38-year-old woman accused of stabbing a Denver Police officer multiple times has been charged with four felony counts related to the Jan. 6 incident, the Denver District Attorney s Office announced.
Alicia Esquibel faces:
Two counts of first-degree assault
Committing a crime of violence, which is a sentence enhancing charge.
The injured officer was attempting to take a different person into custody for trespassing and harassment at a hotel located at 620 N. Federal Blvd when Denver Police said Esquibel is accused of approaching the officer from behind, producing a knife and stabbing the officer in his chest/torso multiple times.

DENVER â A Denver woman has been charged in the stabbing of a police officer at a hotel last week, prosecutors said Friday.
Alicia Esquibel, 38, faces charges of criminal attempt to commit murder, two counts of first-degree assault and committing a crime of violence, according to the Denver District Attorney s Office.
The incident happened Jan. 6 at a hotel in the 600 block of North Federal Boulevard. A Denver officer was trying to take Esquibel into custody for trespassing and harassment when she allegedly stabbed him multiple times, prosecutors said.

DENVER The Denver District Attorney’s Office has filed formal charges following a murder that occurred at a downtown hotel on Christmas Day.
The suspect, Tonell Love, 36, is charged with one count of first-degree murder and one count of first-degree assault. According to the Denver inmate log, Love is being held in the Downtown Detention Center without bond.
He is accused in the murder of Paul Norwood, 36.
