Osceola County Community Foundation Announces Grant Awards

Sibley, IA (KICD) The Community Foundation of Osceola County has awarded over 104 thousand dollars to organizations and communities in their latest grant cycle.
29 separate organizations were given anywhere from five hundred to five thousand dollars.
The group attempts to distribute money throughout the county and this year cash went to such things as: a building project by the city of Harris, shelving and a movie screen at the Ashton public library; and a veteran’s memorial in Melvin.
Money went to the Sibley-Ocheyden Band Boosters for new uniforms; the FFA for new appliances; and Science Club for an update of the engineering classroom.
