A number of main roads are closed this morning following a night of heavy snowfall across northern parts of Derbyshire.
Derbyshire County Council say the A57 Snake Pass, the A54/A537 Cat and Fiddle and A6024 Holme Moss are shut due to the weather conditions.
Highways England have also closed the A628 Woodhead Pass.
During the night police said crashes were rolling in on the roads as the snow came hurling down.
The Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit said on Twitter: High Peak, Dales, Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire areas all currently experiencing snow fall. Roads are challenging and the crashes are starting to roll in.

Part of the A38 in Derby is closed after a lorry overturned in the carriageway this morning.
The A38 Queensway southbound is closed at Palm Court Island (for A6 Duffield Road), and is expected to remain shut for sometime.
Motorists are facing slow traffic with congestion to A61 Little Eaton Island, according to traffic information service Inrix.
A diversion route is in operation, taking drivers off the southbound exit, around the island, and then back on via the entry slip road.
