Her Younger character Kelsey Peters is reportedly getting her own spinoff, after creator Darren Star told TVLine of the parent series: 'We are unofficially planning [season 7] as a final season.'

2020 was supposed to be the year when ’90s kids got to relieve some of their childhood memories with the reboot of Disney’s Lizzie McGuire. Unfortunately, like many things that happened in the year gone by, the revival got cancelled and left fans disappointed.

While the lead star, Hilary Duff, shared the news that the show was not happening last month, the show’s other actors have also opened up about they feel with the show being lost.

During a chat with VICE, Robert Carradine aka Sam (Lizzie McGuire’s dad) said he is confused with the show getting cancelled after shooting for it. He revealed, “Every single step of that trajectory had to be greenlit by somebody who’s high up in the organization. So, you go to all that trouble and they decide at the last minute, out of the blue, that it needs to be more kid-friendly? I don’t get that.”
“Bridgerton” wants to be the next “Downton Abbey,” albeit hornier and with a more modern spin.
While this Regency period-set streaming series from executive producer Shonda Rhimes (“Grey’s Anatomy”) and showrunner Chris Van Dusen (“Scandal”) can be fun and beautiful to behold (sumptuous, brightly-colored costumes and landscapes dominate in early episodes), it’s no “Downton.” It’s more like soapier, sexier Jane Austen-lite that would benefit from a dash more wit.
Set 100 years before the first season of “Downton Abbey” and based on a series of romance novels by Julia Quinn, the series is narrated “Gossip Girl”-style by the anonymous Lady Whistledown (voice of Julie Andrews), who offers commentary on the 1813 upper crust London marriage market.
