TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) After the funeral for fallen Terre Haute Police Department Officer Det. Greg Ferency on Tuesday the procession began its journey through the community.
The procession left the Hulman Center where it was led by various agencies including Terre Haute Police, Indiana State Police, Vigo County Sheriffs, F.B.I, U.S. Customs and Border Protection as well as dozens others.
The procession made a brief stop at the Terre Haute Police Department Headquarters in which Detective Ferency’s final call was dispatched.
Community members lined the streets of Wabash Ave. with many of them congregating in front of the police headquarters to pay their final respects.

People placed a mountain of flowers on Det. Ferency s patrol car and for about a half-hour, residents stood with hands over hearts, as the funeral procession passed by police headquarters.
