12:19 | Lima, Apr. 19. Peruvian Prime Minister Violeta Bermudez has announced that starting this weekend vaccination centers will open their doors to the population in addition to the existing ones, in coordination with municipalities.
Joined by Health Minister Oscar Ugarte, the Cabinet chief visited the vaccination center set up at Lima-based Campo de Marte on Sunday.
There, the high-ranking official remarked that these centers will be multiplied progressively as more vaccine doses become available.
It should be noted that the immunization of senior citizens is carried out at 11 large vaccination centers, which host 370 brigades.
