DELSUTH lauds Okowa over provision of COVID-19 vaccine for frontliners

The Chief Medical Director, Delta State University Teaching Hospital (DELSUTH), Oghara, Dr. Onome Ogueh, has thanked Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Ononye Mordi for their efforts in providing the COBVID-19 vaccine for frontliners.
Dr. Ogueh made the commendation during the official flag-off of the COVID -19 vaccination in DELSUTH, Oghara on Monday.
He added that the vaccine will first be given to frontliners because they are at particular risk to COVID -19.
Ogueh disclosed that 57 cases of COVID-19 were recorded among DELSUTH staff in 2020, stressing the need on strict adherence to the COVID-19 guidelines, including wearing on face masks,

It was in the news that the corpse of the deceased got missing in the mortuary. What really happened?
My sister (the deceased) had been suffering from cancer which cost us a lot of money. We moved her from the Delta State University Teaching Hospital, Oghara to the University Teaching Hospital in Enugu, but she eventually died on January 19, 2021. In the early hours of January 20, we took her body to Isi and Origho Glorious Home, a mortuary.

A 42-year-old hairstylist, Adams Amakel Eguvwese has been shot dead in broad daylight as he sat outside his shop in Sapele, Delta State.
The victim popularly known as ’10 over 10′ (the name of his barbing shop), was sitting in the front of his saloon along New road by Otite road junction in Sapele at about 5:45 p.m on Tuesday evening. when the gunman shot him.
A source who simply gave his name as Nathaniel told Vanguard that the gunman came in a numberless blue toyota corolla car, “Adams was sitting outside his barbing saloon when the numberless blue Corolla came, a man holding a shotgun approached him and shot him, he (Adams) ran into the shop and the gunman went after him and shot him again at the entrance of his shop, before he got into the Corolla and drove away” he said in tears.
