India is fighting hard against the second wave of the novel coronavirus pandemic. Citizens including Bollywood celebrities are doing their bit to help people affected by Covid-19 in the country. At the same time, there s a section of social media users who have been criticising the stars for not contributing towards the Covid-19 fight and often post hateful comments against the celebs. Covid Care Centre being prepared with beds and oxygen support, amid the ongoing second wave of coronavirus pandemic, at Gurudwara Rakab Ganj Sahib in New Delhi
The Guru Tegh Bahadur COVID Care Centre at the Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib in central Delhi is starting operations from Monday afternoon with 300 beds.
Manjinder Singh Sirsa, president of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, said 100 more beds will become available on Tuesday. The COVID care center is being managed by 50 doctors from the Delhi government-run Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Hospital. They will be supported by a team of 150 nurses and ward boys, he said.

The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) today said its Covid care facility at the Rakab Ganj Gurdwara would open tomorrow and have 400 beds to mark the 400th birth anniversary of Guru Teg Bahadur.
The facility will be equipped with oxygen concentrators and also have its own ambulances. No money will be charged from patients for medicines, oxygen or food. “The donations made by the ‘sangat’ (Sikh community) are sufficient,” said DSGMC president Manjinder Singh Sirsa at a press conference.
