The intrigue intensified after revelations that controversial Israeli cybersecurity firm NSO Group’s spyware was used to target at least 121 Indian citizens.

High-security registration plates: Website of HSRP supplier hacked, chaos rules
Panicked by the recent crackdown on owners of vehicles not having high-security registration plates (HSRPs) or the fuel-based colour coded stickers, scores of people on Wednesday tried to book slots to get these affixed only to find that the Delhi governmentâs website was down. It was later clarified that the website of HSRP supplier Rosmerta Safety Systems was hacked.
