Oshae Brissett has played in the NBA – 19 games with the Toronto Raptors last season – and he may be proving he deserves another shot.
He had a game-best 26 points and 11 rebounds Saturday, as the Mad Ants defeated the Iowa Wolves 98-93 in double overtime at Orlando, Florida. But Brissett’s biggest play of the game came at the defensive end, where he absorbed a Lindell Wigginton charge to set up a Naz Mitrou-Long drive for a 95-93 lead.

The Mad Ants looked to be in better position than any other time this season, leading by 20 points in the third quarter Thursday.
Things went awry quickly.
The Santa Cruz Warriors erupted late, taking their first lead midway through the fourth quarter and going up for good when former NBA star Jeremy Lin drained a 3-pointer with 1:34 remaining and won 113-109 in Orlando, Florida.

The Mad Ants have played five games over seven days – completing one-third of their single-site regular season already – and it’s given coach Tom Hankins precious little time to make adjustments.
“It’s extremely challenging. I’d love to be able to practice,” Hankins said after Tuesday night’s 112-105 loss to the Oklahoma City Blue at HP Field House in Orlando, Florida. “I’d love to get two practices in a row and be able to add things, put new things in.
The Mad Ants are getting better, but it isn t yet showing up on the scoreboard.
