The Windsor Essex County Health Unit has announced 127 new cases of COVID-19 in Windsor and Essex County as of Monday, bringing the local total to 5,861.
Cases increased from 5,734 on Sunday December 20th to 5,861 on Monday December 21st and 1,141 cases of COVID-19 are currently active in Windsor-Essex.
The Health Unit says 16 cases are related to outbreaks, 3 cases are close contacts of confirmed cases, 2 cases are community acquired, and 106 cases are still under investigation

They say 4,622 people locally have recovered (an increase of 52 recoveries today).
There have been no new deaths from COVID-19 as of Monday and the local death toll stands at 98.

They say 4,570 people locally have recovered (an increase of 56 recoveries today).
There have been three news deaths from COVID-19 as of Sunday bringing the local death toll to 98. The Health Unit says a woman in her 70s from the community, a man in his 80s from a long-term care home, and a woman in her 80s from a long-term care home, passed away.
The Windsor Essex County Health Unit has announced 243 new cases of COVID-19 as of Friday, bringing the local total to 5,446.
Cases increased from 5,203 on Thursday December 17th to 5,446 on Friday December 18th and 1,014 cases of COVID-19 are currently active in Windsor-Essex.
Friday’s 243 new cases has set a record for the highest number of new daily cases locally. The previous record was 195 new cases, set just this past Monday.

The Health Unit says 31 cases are related to outbreaks, 5 cases are close contacts of confirmed cases, and 207 cases are still under investigation.
They say 4,337 people locally have recovered (an increase of 177 recoveries today).
