Medical examiner releases name of 79-year-old Verona man who died after moped crash

VERONA, Wis. The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the 79-year-old man who died following a moped crash Saturday night.
Officials said Donald Lipske of Verona was riding at the intersection of County Trunk Highway PB and County Trunk Highway M shortly after 7 p.m. when his moped-style scooter hit a curb and threw him off. He later died at the hospital.
The medical examiner’s office completed a forensic examination Sunday, with preliminary results confirming Lipske died of injuries he suffered in the crash.

Madison police said the stabbing happened around 9 p.m. Tuesday in the 700 block of Braxton Place. Police said they found the victim with multiple stab wounds. Officers tried life-saving measures, but the man later died at a local hospital.
The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office has since identified the victim as 60-year-old Mark T. Ryan, of Madison. The medical examiner said Ryan died from the stab wounds.
Police and the medical examiner are still investigating the homicide.
