Evansville-based Deaconess gets 1,950 doses to start, will give vaccine to employees next week Thomas B. Local medical and health department officials say they have been in daily and weekly contact with the Indiana State Department of Health, which is overseeing the fast-moving and still-evolving move toward a coordinated statewide vaccination campaign. Deaconess provided the local dosage figure, it said Wednesday, after conferring earlier in the day with Indiana and Kentucky state health officials.
