(WFIE) - Dispatch officials confirm a head-on collision involving two trucks occurred in Henderson County on Thursday evening. Officials say the crash happened on the 8800 block of B F Overfield Road in Corydon. According to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, four teenagers sustained non-life-threatening injuries when their truck flipped during the collision. Deputies say three of them were transferred to Deaconess Henderson Hospital, while the fourth was taken to Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville.

(WFIE) - Wednesday was another historic day in the area as half a dozen workers on the front lines at Deaconess in Henderson rolled up their sleeves for the COVID-19 vaccine. Moderna vaccines went into their arms just after 7 a.m. on Wednesday morning. Officials say storage was the main reason for getting the Moderna vaccine compared to Pfizer’s. Deaconess officials say although there is no timeline for when the vaccine will be ready for public distribution, they’re hopeful.

Local medical and health department officials say they have been in daily and weekly contact with the Indiana State Department of Health, which is overseeing the fast-moving and still-evolving move toward a coordinated statewide vaccination campaign. Deaconess provided the local dosage figure, it said Wednesday, after conferring earlier in the day with Indiana and Kentucky state health officials.
