Three times in the span of nine days last fall, a man wearing a black Lacoste brand beanie hat stole from three separate New Jersey jewelry stores and fled in a black BMW sedan.
It was that beanie hat and the gold watch with the black face he wore during at least two of the incidents that helped police identify him on a social media page, according to court documents.
On Wednesday, U.S. Marshals took 22-year-old Michael Larbi of Dover into custody, the Evesham Police Department in New Jersey announced. As of Thursday night, Larbi was in the custody of the Delaware Department of Correction, and the process to extradite him to New Jersey was underway Friday.
