AKWESASNE â The Akwesasne Boys & Girls Club has announced that member Cayde Lazore has raised $3,701 for the club.
Cayde along with his mother started a GoFundMe page for him to raise the money through pledges for him to complete a 4-mile run every four hours over a 48-hour period.
On the David Goggins 4x4x48 Challenge event page it explains the reason behind the event as: âIn a time when there is so much divisiveness in the world, this event gives all of us the rare opportunity to come together for a common goal with people from all over the world!â

A PERSONAL trainer from Henley has raised more than £2,600 for a mental health charity by running four miles every four hours for 48 hours. At noon on Friday, Jeremy Johnston set off on the first leg, running a loop up to Badgemore Park and along Fairmile before returning to his home in Hop Gardens.
The last of his 12 runs on Sunday morning was along Pack and Prime Lane and back into Henley along Greys Road.
In between, he completed 10 other runs, including at night, which meant he didn’t have much sleep.
On Sunday, he was about 500 yards from his house when his wife, Kat Barry, jumped out from behind a car and surprised him with a blue balloon. They then ran the final stretch together.

Vaibhav Arora, Founder BhojanTech loves reading and has been using the lockdown to add some books to his already read list. I read Master Growth Hacking - Apurva Chamaria with Gaurav Kakkar, Alex Ferguson - My autobiography, Can’t Hurt Me - David Goggins, Blue Ocean Strategy - W.Chan Kim & Renée Mauborgne. With each giving me a window into the inner workings of a multitude of perspectives. Each one came with its own set of takeaways. I generally make notes with lines that resonate with me and go back to them every now and then, for perspective on situations I deal with day-in and day-out. Whilst there are several parts in all the books I ve mentioned that were note-worthy, the two highlights which I hold close to me, especially since Bhojan became a reality, he says.

In 2017, an otherwise healthy child, Vienna Carly Savino of Holmdel, died of something called Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood. She was two and a half years old, and through the unimaginable grief, her mom Denise Wunderler knew she had to make the world more aware of SUDC.
So, as a result, Dr. Denise Wunderler, DO, FAOASM, founded 501 (c)(3) Team Vienna 4 SUDC Awareness, Inc.and co-founded the SUDC Coalition with the goal of raising awareness, education and research support for SUDC.
There have been so many wonderful events and people supporting this great cause over the years, and the most recent happened this past weekend when Team Vienna board member Brian Dragotto from Tinton Falls, took on the 4X4X48 challenge created by former Marine David Goggins, to raise awareness and funds for SUDC..
