FIH set to develop video game for android users

ISLAMABAD: In a virtual meeting ahead of the 47th FIH Congress, the Executive Board (EB) of the International Hockey Federation (FIH) has approved its partnership with a gaming company for development of a hockey manager game that will be available on android mobile.
It has been planned to release the game globally before the end of 2021 on Google Play and the App Store and it will be free to download.
Furthermore, the EB confirmed appointment of four new members for the Athletes’ Committee. Sreejesh Parattu (IND), Marlena Rybacha (POL), Mohamed Mea (RSA) and Matt Swann (AUS) will now be joining the committee. It also approved the appointment of Steve Horgan (USA) as the new Chair of the FIH Rules Committee, succeeding David Collier (England), whose term will be ending at the upcoming Congress.

On Monday, the publication tweeted out a story about the A-list actor with a photo of him from the set of his next film for director Martin Scorsese, calling DiCaprio “unrecognizable.”
The problem is, most people seem to agree he’s
very recognizable in the photo.

“Leonardo DiCaprio unrecognizable in first photos of new Scorsese film,” tweeted the Post, with a shot of the Oscar winner with costar Lily Gladstone in a scene from “Killers of the Flower Moon.” (The film costars Robert DeNiro and is adapted from David Grann’s true-crime book “Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI.”)

Duncan-based Operators Unlimited will address some of the wastewater industry’s recruitment and training challenges May 11-12 with a free continuing education course for operators at the University Center of Greenville.
Participants can earn six hours of continuing education credits per day and will cover a number of topics including wastewater documentation, chemical feed pumps, coagulation and polymers, solids dewatering, sampling, safety measures and wastewater mathematics, according to the announcement.
Wastewater operations and education specialist David Collyer, a Class A biological wastewater license holder, will serve as the primary instructor for the course and draw from his 30-year experience in the field.
