The Crowdfunding campaign received generous donations from residents and businesses in Basildon and the target of £25,000 has now been hit - with £25,130 being raised so far. he Mayor of Basildon, Councillor David Burton-Sampson, said: I have to say a massive thank you to each and every person who has donated to this important cause. To raise £25,130 at a time like this is a testament to the warmth and graciousness of the Basildon community.
