Rural Ewing Man Arrested on Drug Related Charges A Ewing man faces drug related charges in Lewis County. Sheriff David Parrish reports deputies responded Monday to a report of a suspicious person at Johnnie’s Station in Ewing. Deputies arrived to find 28 year old Nicholas Colt Carper of rural Ewing, who appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance. A small child was taken into protective custody and given to a relative. An investigation led to Carper’s arrest for possession of a controlled substance. Carper was released on $5,000 bond.
