ARRESTS
The following people were arrested on felony charges by law enforcement agencies in Davidson County, and, unless noted otherwise, were either placed in the Davidson County Detention Center or released from custody and are scheduled to appear in Lexington District Court on the date given:
Jay Emanuel Calhoun, 47, of 101 Meadow Wood Drive, Thomasville, was charged with attempted breaking and entering of a building, possession of burglary tools, $10,000 secured bond, Feb. 26.
Tasha Nicole Grimmet, 30, of 708 Field St., Thomasville, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, $20,000 secured bond, Feb. 17.
Andrew Edward Herring, 29, of 606 Roosevelt St., Thomasville, was charged with two counts of forgery of an instrument, possession of more than five counterfeit instruments, $20,000 secured bond, Feb. 17.

Roland Monroe Thompson, Jr., 43, no address, was charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle, altering serial numbers, driving with a revoked license, $5,000 secured bond, Feb. 15.
Jason Paul Sikkila, 42, of 713 Market St., was charged with a felony fugitive warrant for domestic violence out of South Carolina, no bond, Jan. 14.
Christopher Devon Hinson, 38, of 1129 W. Holly Hill Road, Thomasville, was charged with larceny of a motor vehicle, $2,500 secured bond, Jan. 25; misdemeanor resisting a public officer, $2,500 secured bond, March 24.
Man arrested, charged with arson in downtown Nashville fire

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) â The Nashville Fire Department charged a man with arson after they say he set fire to a building in downtown Nashville.
Fire officials say 39-year-old Joshua Baker set a fire in a building on the 200 block of 6th Avenue North on New Year s Eve.
When firefighters responded to the call, they found multiple fires on the second floor of the building - an area used mostly for storage. Firefighters extinguished the fire, which officials say caused extensive internal damage. They also found other fire locations including the bathroom, near a rear wall, in a trash can and in a mini refrigerator.
Two Davidson County men charged with sex crimes with minors

Two Davidson County men have been charged with sexual offenses with minors in separate incidents, according to records from the Davidson County Clerk of Courts office
Ronald James Jr., 40, of 223 Sir Abbott Lane, Lexington, is charged with felony second degree sex exploitation of a minor and felony third degree sex exploitation of a minor.
In the report, it reads that on Aug. 25 James received a photo of a 15-year-old female engaged in sexual activity. The female minor was nude from the stomach up, covering private areas with her arm and hand.

Damien Anthony Escobar, 20, of 76 Random Drive, Apt. C, was charged with possession of stolen goods, misdemeanor resisting arrest, $5,000 secured bond, Jan. 4.
Dakota Adrian Kinney, 19, of 120 Travis Lane, Apt. 1, was charged with possession of stolen goods, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, misdemeanor resisting arrest, $7,500 secured bond, Jan. 4.
Markus Antawon Jones, 34, of 205 Druid Hills Drive, was charged with felony assault by strangulation, misdemeanor assault on a female, misdemeanor damage to personal property, no bond, Dec. 15.
