Two trial courtrooms will be closed temporarily and staff encouraged to isolate and get tested for the coronavirus after a person in Tennessee Department of Correction custody with COVID-19 was transported to a Nashville courthouse on Wednesday.  Trial Court Administrator Tim Townsend confirmed that employees connected to the courtrooms of Judges Monte D. Watkins and Mark J. Fishburn have taken steps to isolate their staff after possible exposures at the Justice A.A. Birch Building. The judges sit in adjoining courtrooms that use the same set of holding cells where the individual had been kept on Wednesday.
