Stalnaker
WESTON Kevin P. Stalnaker has been named Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital (SJMH) and Senior Vice President for MHS.
Stalnaker came to SJMH in June 2012 and has ascended in responsibility since he joined the organization at the Hospital and System level. In November 2020, he was named interim Chief Administrative Officer for Avah Stalnaker upon her retirement.
Stalnaker was grateful for the promotion and noted, “I am truly honored to be given this opportunity at Mon Health. As a lifelong Lewis County resident, I believe strongly in our community and our hospital. As we transition into the next phase of our provision of healthcare, we are all looking forward to the day we can build a replacement facility that will be here for decades.”
WEBSTER SPRINGS Webster County Memorial Hospital is becoming part of the Davis Health System network.
The Webster County Commission, the Webster County Building Commission, and the hospital have agreed to transition the operations of WCMH into the DHS network.
Under the arrangement, a subsidiary of DHS will lease and assume the operation of WCMH and its affiliated facilities later in 2021.
“With the move, the two hospital systems will better serve the patients and families of Webster County communities,” a Wednesday press release states. “This comes after more than two years of study, discussion, planning and negotiation.”
WCMH Board Chair Mary Ann Carpenter said the arrangement is necessary as the healthcare industry changes.
