Agriculture.com Community Bookmark At the close: At the close, the Sept. corn futures close 1¢ lower at $5.48 3/4. New crop Dec. futures finished 1/2¢ lower at $5.46. March corn futures closed 3/4¢ lower at $5.53 1/2. August soybean futures finished 5 1/2¢ higher at $14.18 3/4. Sept. soybean futures settled 4 1/2¢ higher at $13.67 1/4. New crop November soybean futures ended 1 3/4¢ higher at $13.59 1/4. Sept. wheat futures closed 2 1/2¢ lower at $6.74 1/4. 
Sept. soymeal futures closed $5.40 per short ton higher at $358.20.
 Sep. soy oil futures finished $0.78 lower at 64.39¢ per pound. In the outside markets, the NYMEX crude oil market is 0.12 lower (-0.17%) at $71.79. The U.S. dollar is lower, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 168 points lower (-0.48%) at 34,975 points.
