3.46pm Possible delays on SH1 near Pukerua Bay after crash Waka Kotahi has advised motorists travelling north on SH1 Pukerua Bay to Paekākāriki that the road is clear following a crash, but significant delays remained. “Traffic is heavy from the Plimmerton roundabout, so please delay your journey if possible,” the NZTA alert said.

11.10am: CCTV partnership providing “significant results” with alleged burglar and drug dealers caught. Police say its partnership with Wellington City Council’s CCTV operators is yielding significant results after a prolific alleged burglar targeting mail rooms in apartment buildings was caught and charged. The City Safety CCTV operators also alerted police to two alleged drug deals and a wanted male on Courtenay Place, which resulted in officers making four arrests and seizing methamphetamine, MDMA, cannabis, scales, a knife and $2,900 in cash.
