WPTDeepStacks London #1 - $200,000 Opening Event at
Latvia s i2out was crowned the winner after more than 8 1/2 hours in play which included a back-and-forth heads-up battle against United Kingdom s Tedson89 .
It appeared that Tedson89 would be the player to beat after single-handedly eliminating six out of the seven players at the final table and entered heads-up with a lead. Instead, the British poker player had to settle for the juicy runner-up prize of $29,300 for his return on the $525 buy-in.
