Wanted Child Predator Captured While Drunk Driving
SAN ANGELO, TX – A wanted child predator was captured Saturday after Troopers with the Department of Public Safety caught him drunk driving.
According to court documents, on Apr. 3, Jesus Martinez, 25, of Brady was booked into the Tom Green County Detention Facility for driving while intoxicated and a grand jury indictment for indecency with a child by sexual contact.
The indictment came down on Feb. 10 and a warrant was issued on Feb. 24.
The indictment accuses Martinez of allegedly engaging is sexual contact with a child under the age of 17 by inappropriately touching the girl.
Driver in Horrific Northside Fatal Crash Indicted for Causing Death
SAN ANGELO, TX – A San Angelo Man has been indicted for killing a woman while he was fleeing from police.
According to court documents, on Mar. 4, a Tom Green County grand jury indicted Steven Baros, 32, for possession of a controlled substance and evading arrest using a vehicle resulting in a death.
The indictment came after the crash that occurred on Jan. 25. On that day an officer with the San Angelo Police Department was patrolling on N. Chadbourne when he spotted a silver Ford pickup traveling at a rate of speed traveling south.
Incarcerated Man Indicted for Aggravated Assault
SAN ANGELO, TX – Dimitri Hernandez has been indicted by a Tom Green County grand jury in February for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
On December 9th, 2020, Dimitri Hernandez and the victim were incarcerated at the Tom Green County Detention Facility and both were housed in the same housing unit.
Hernandez approached the victim and punched him in the face. Hernandez continued to punch, kick, and stomp the victim in the head, neck, and torso area of the body.
The victim suffered multiple facial fractures and a ruptured spleen that required emergency surgery to remove.
