[Prison] can do lifelong damage in terms of mental health and development and we know that the younger that a child is imprisoned, the more likely they are to return to prison as an adult and really get stuck in that quicksand of the justice system.
We’ve seen the horrors of youth prison in Australia. We’ve seen Don Dale [Youth Detention Centre in the Northern Territory], children being gassed and hooded, the torture and abuse that children experience, the solitary confinement and isolation of children for over 300 days in Western Australia. We’ve seen hog tying and sedating of children and using dogs on them in youth prisons in Queensland. This is happening right around the country.”

Tyrone Murray pleaded guilty to five offences before Cherbourg Magistrates Court including wilful damage, riding a motorbike without a helmet, and operating an uninsured and unregistered vehicle while unlicensed. On December 29, 2020, Murray attended with cousins Cherbourg address hoping to get a lift to his father s house. The victim was at her home and the defendant came asking for a lift to his father s house. The victim said there was no fuel in the car, so she declined to do so, police prosecutor Sergeant Barry Stevens said.

On an unknown date prior to October 17, Stray was identified by police on the social media app Tik Tok, wearing a Finks MC Australia vest and a white Finks branded T-shirt, while perched on a Harley Davidson motorcycle.
