NO further deaths from coronavirus have been recorded in Dorset hospitals in the last 24 hours, according to the latest data released by NHS. Three people who tested positive for Covid-19 were recorded in Dorset s hospitals on Monday, December 21, which brought the total number of coronavirus-related deaths at the county s hospitals to 314. In the latest update from NHS England on Tuesday afternoon (December 22), no further deaths have been reported in the county s hospitals. Since the start of the pandemic, Poole Hospital has confirmed 107 deaths, 80 deaths have been recorded by University Hospitals Dorset and 68 by Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals.

A total of 314 patients have died with the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic. Poole Hospital has confirmed 107 deaths with 80 recorded by University Hospitals Dorset and 68 by Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals. Elsewhere, 32 deaths have been reported by Dorset Healthcare University with 27 documented by Dorset County Hospital. NHS officials said a further 405 people who tested positive for the virus have died. It brings the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 46,983. Patients were aged between 26 and 100 years old. All except 13, aged 54 to 90 years old, didn’t have known underlying health conditions. Date of death ranges from 2 July to December 21, 2020, with the majority occurring on or after December 18.

Data released by NHS England shows the deaths occurred at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital on December 19. The trust has now recorded 74 deaths related to coronavirus. During the pandemic, a total of 308 people have died after testing positive for the virus in the county’s hospitals. Since the beginning of the pandemic, Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals have now recorded 71 deaths with 107 occurring in Poole Hospital. Elsewhere, Dorset County Hospital has confirmed 27 deaths with 32 reported by Dorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust. NHS officials have said that a further 190 people who tested positive for Covid-19 have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 46,578.
