DOVER, MA Dover-Sherborn Regional High School has been named one of the best high schools in the United States, according to a new ranking by U.S. News and World Report.
This year s list ranks more than 17,800 public high schools throughout the country.
Among those schools, Dover-Sherborn Regional High School was ranked 290.

The purpose of the rankings is to provide insight into academic performance among underserved groups, showing how well schools are supporting these students, Anita Narayan, managing editor of education at U.S. News, said in a news release.

There’s no shortage of high-caliber high schools in Massachusetts, and as part of its 2021 “Best High Schools Rankings,” U.S. News & Report broke down the best of the best in the Bay State.
The academic-ranking website releases its nationwide and state-by-state ratings annually, looking at the best high schools in both the country and all 50 states as well as the top charter, magnet and STEM schools in the United States.
