Global Covid cases surpass 186.4 million United News of Bangladesh (UNB) Bangladesh, July 11 The global corona caseload has now topped 186.4 million as the second wave of the Covid pandemic continues its onslaught across the world amid rapid inoculation efforts. The total caseload and fatalities from the virus stand at 186,405,992 and 4,024,869, respectively, as of Sunday morning, according to Johns Hopkins University (JHU). So far, 3,413, 404, 520 Covid vaccine doses have been administered across the globe, as per the university data. XXXXCentral bank governor hints at a relatively less facilitative monetary policy for businesses Kathmandu Post Kathmandu, July 11 A top central bank official hinted that the monetary policy for the next fiscal year 2021-22 won t be as facilitative for businesses as it was in the current fiscal year with the central bank expecting that the economic activities might operate normally to a large extent in the second half of the fiscal year that begins on July 16. The Nepal Rastra Bank is currently preparing to introduce the monetary policy for the next fiscal year which is expected to announce certain facilities for businesses hit hard by the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic.
