Crash remains under investigation Updated: 10:19 PM CDT May 4, 2021 KMBC 9 News Staff Kansas City police are investigating a head-on collision Tuesday evening that seriously injured two people.Police said officers were called about 7 p.m. to 73rd Street and Troost Avenue after a Dodge sedan and BMW crashed just south of the intersection.Authorities said the 36-year-old man driving the Dodge went to a hospital and was in critical condition.A 51-year-old Raymore woman driving the BMW was reported to be in serious, but stable condition.Accident investigators said there evidence indicating that the driver of Dodge had crossed the center line.The crash remains under investigation.
