Subscriber only TWO Ballina brothers charged over an alleged stabbing assault in Byron Bay will return to court in the new year. Tory John Martin-Manton, 24 and Jarett Martin-Manton, 25, are each charged with affray and causing grievous bodily harm to a person with intent. They were arrested in the early hours of Sunday, September 20 this year after an alleged fight in Apex Park in Byron Bay. Police will allege Jarett Martin-Manton wielded broken glass while his brother had a broken Jack Daniels bottle during the incident. Subscriber only A NORTH Coast Instagram model, arrested in the same drug bust as former NRL star Michael Gordon, has pleaded guilty to another drug charge. Instagram influencer Mikayla Noakes case appeared in Tweed Heads Local Court on Monday where her lawyer pleaded guilty, on her behalf, to a charge of possessing a prohibited drug from an arrest on November 14. The 20-year-old also faces charges of taking part in the supply of a prohibited drug and participating in a criminal group to contribute to criminal activity from allegedly taking part in a cross-border cocaine and MDMA supply ring.

Subscriber only A 46-YEAR-old North Coast man texted his ex-partner a picture of his penis before turning up in her backyard and slashing the tyres of cars on her street. The Fingal Heads man, who is not named to protect his victim, appeared in Tweed Heads Local Court on Monday and pleaded guilty to contravening a protection order and intimidation. Court documents revealed the man and his former partner shared custody of their 11-year-old daughter and once the couple had separated the victim had started a new relationship.
