ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Secretary Ministry of IT and Telecommunication Shoaib Ahmad Siddiqui has directed the attached departments of the Ministry of IT & Telecom to accelerate the spending of funds allocated for respective projects for their speedy completion.
While chairing a meeting regarding the Progress Review of PSDP FY-2020-21 at the Committee Room of the Ministry of IT & Telecom in Islamabad on Friday, the Secretary IT said that speedy utilization of funds for the ongoing projects is vital for their timely completion.
The meeting discussed ongoing IT projects and reviewed the pace of working on the projects.
Earlier, the Secretary IT said was given a detailed briefing about working and utilization of funds of IT projects of the Ministry of IT & Telecom.

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday said that the provision of 3G and 4G internet services and connectivity in Gilgit Baltistan (GB) were vital for exploiting the true potential of youth and promoting tourism in the area.
It will also help youth in getting an online education and utilizing their capabilities through information technology besides benefitting from the potential of tourism, he added.
