  New Delhi: Rishihood University (RU), India’s first impact-oriented university with a mission to provide access to equitable education for all, has announced the commencement of the second phase of its admissions process for the academic session 2021. In a shift away from convention, the university is allowing students to apply for their preferred course and appear for the interview virtually. Moreover, RU has excluded the need for UG aspirants to supply their Class 12 board results, and for college students to provide the result of their final year exams, as an application criterion. The university has reviewed its admission process for the year 2021 in light of the pandemic-induced disruptions in the administrative processes at schools, colleges, and India’s education boards. The CBSE, ICSE, and state boards, for instance, have either deferred or cancelled the examination of class 12 observing the seriousness of the second wave currently raging across the country.
