Expanded RF portfolio covers complete signal chain for macro base stations

Expanded RF portfolio covers complete signal chain for macro base stations Renesas Electronics Corporation has strengthened its RF portfolio for traditional macro base transceiver stations with four new high-reliability, high-performance devices, providing customers access to a full RF signal chain solution. This expansion incorporates what is claimed to be the industry’s first quad-channel F4482/1 TX VGA and the F011x family of dual-channel first-stage LNA. The new device set also incorporates the F1471 RF driver amplifier – the first high-power pre-driver with P1dB of over 1/2W – and the F2934 RF switch with higher isolation in a smaller unit for digital pre-distortion feedback path.
