The Ladies Auxiliary of St Anna Parish-Community organised a morning tea at the Hellenic Function Centre and were joined by 125 enthusiastic people, who gathered to raise money for an ECG machine desperately needed by Gold Coast University Hospital’s oncology department. The morning tea hosted nurse Debbie Royal who works at the front line in the Oncology Unit along with Shaelene Hancock and Tegan Parker who work with the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation. Residents in Noosa, the Sunshine Coast, Ipswich, Logan, Redlands, the Gold Coast, the Scenic Rim, Lockyer Valley, the Somerset region and Townsville will come out of lockdown at 6pm.
